MAYHEM! Fight Night
On May 06 2017, Plymouth's Guildhall rocked to the sound of local fight fans cheering on their favourites in an action packed night for local and UK boxing. Black Country Boxing and Carl's Boxing Stable Plympton once again put on a fantastic show displaying the best of the current crop of westcountry fighters.
The BBBOC regulated event featured Des "The Destroyer" Newton fighting Andy Harris for the British Challenge Lightweight Title. a bout that Reff Lee Cook had to step in and stop in the fifth round with Newton piling on the punishment for a worthy but ultimately outclassed opponent.

Darren "The Terminator" Townley won his fight and looks likely to challenge for a belt himself next time out with a steady and confident display. Newquay's Brad Pauls continued his winning streak, the popular fighter bringing a sizable contingent of Cornish fight fans who aslo got to see Launceston's Wes Smith win his fight. Another Launceston prospect Jordan Platt won his debut fight and much touted former Plymotuh Kick Boxer Louis Aitken finally secured his debut pro boxing fight with a very respectable win over the ever professional and dependable Kristian Laight

The packed bill also featured ,Liam 'Rocco' Richards, Matthew Ashmole,Qasim Hussain and Anthony Fox. Professional boxing returns to Plymouth Guildhall on 29 July 2017
